Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Bryn Mawr College in 1999. I worked for the Renfrew Center from 1999-2001 and for the Belmont Center from 2001-2007 in the field of Eating Disorders. I also maintained a private practice during that time. In January 2008, I co-founded Bloomgarden, Ostroff & Associates, a group psychotherapy practice in Center City, Philadelphia.  There I serve as the Administrative Director, overseeing general operations and developing systems that keep things running smoothly.

Treatment Approach

I use a variety of approaches in my work including cognitive/cognitive-behavioral, insight-oriented, psychoeducational, mindfulness, and relational psychotherapy. I have particular expertise in the areas of EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT) and often use these treatment approaches in my work.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
